(Training) Becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA Project Sponsor

VISTA is an anti-poverty program designed to provide needed resources to nonprofit organizations and public agencies to develop or expand initiatives designed to empower individuals and communities to make change. There are approximately 8,000 members, 18 years or older from a diverse range of backgrounds, serving annually at 4,500 sites across the 50 United States and in all U.S. territories.

Nonprofit organizations, Native American Tribes, institutions of higher education, and state, city, and local government agencies that seek to build or expand an anti-poverty project are eligible to apply.

AmeriCorps VISTA is partnering with other federal agencies to increase access to the Child Tax Credit. AmeriCorps members in VISTA will support efforts in low-income communities to ensure families gain access to the tax credit.

This webinar with Meg Ansara, Director of AmeriCorps Vista, will show you how you can apply to become a Project Sponsor and get the crucial support you need.
